I would like to introduce you to two of the cutest kids that I have ever photographed (who aren't directly related to me!) Meet Christopher and Katie, 2 and 5 respectively. We spent the afternoon goofing around in their backyard and then at the local park.
This is Chris - I love his flip up hair style!
And Katie - Isn't she an angel here?

My family from Texas is visiting so this week we had not one, but two cookouts! Here are some fun photos of the kids...

This is Lisa, one of my proud "blog stalkers". Today, Lisa is proud of something else. Her extensive barbie doll collection!
Lisa, a barbie collector of many years, recently found out that she is going to be featured in a magazine well known to barbie world, called Barbie Collector. She immediately called me to take the photos!
As I worked, Lisa explained the ins and outs of Barbie bonanza to me. Every year, at the annual Barbie convention, Matel auctions off a one of a kind Barbie for charity. As you can imagine, this is Lisa's favorite time of year....

This might be a secret, but Lisa outbid popular Barbie collector Demi Moore for this one... Crushed!!

Apparently this doll on display isn't the real crowning jewel... It's in the shoes.
Made by Harry Winstons, they are really something to look at. They even come with their own bag.

I was very excited to walk into the house and see these blue eyes staring at me! Makes my job a lot easier :)

Over the past month I've been snapping away trying to get some good pictures of the kids. Meg wanted a birth announcement photo, and something for a Christmas card. Next time I want to get more of them... TOGETHER! (We had a lot of fun though!)

You may remember my good friend Allison from
wedding crashing over the summer. Yesterday her family invited me over to shoot their family portrait! I absolutely LOVE this family. They are so nice, and very fun to work with. It isn't every day that they are all together so they were thrilled to have some photos taken... Here are some of my favorites!
